Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst – HealthPlan Systems to support and enhance technology solutions for Health Plan operations. You will collaborate with business and technical partners to deliver solutions, resolve complex issues, and guide system integrations.

The role emphasizes documentation, process improvement, and design of integrated systems. As part of the HCET team, you will support care, analytics, interoperability, and document management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six (6) years of IT analysis and technical design experience
• Three (3) years of project management experience
• Two (2) years with Oracle or MS SQL Server
• Two (2) years in Agile environments with tools like Jira/ServiceNow/ADO
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Visio and PowerPoint
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into tech solutions
• Experience leading medium-sized projects and coordinating teams

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and technical requirements and prepare system designs.
• Define technical specifications based on business requirements and consult with partners.
• Diagnose and correct system failures and coordinate issue resolution.
• Coordinate programming efforts to meet business specifications.
• Manage large team projects and enterprise initiatives.
• Identify technical software and assess infrastructure, integration, and capacity needs.
• Develop, test, debug, document, and install programs.
• Design user interfaces for Client/Server applications.
• Create and maintain user manuals and technical documentation.
• Provide training and mentoring for developers and analysts.
• Support third party applications and coordinate vendor schedules.
