Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota seeks a dedicated accreditation professional to lead readiness efforts across the organization. You will partner with leadership, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and drive documentation and evidence collection to meet accreditation standards.

The role involves guiding policy decisions, coaching teams, and delivering timely improvements to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related medical care management professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience may be accepted.
• Healthcare experience and/or knowledge of managed care or health insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain accreditation knowledge across multiple organization areas.
• Monitor requirements, obtain guidance, and advise on policy decisions to maintain compliance.
• Serve as consultant and educator to departments on accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate with leadership to gather documents and evidence for review.
• Identify gaps and work with partners to achieve full compliance with standards.
• Prepare and maintain accreditation evidence under tight deadlines.
