Job summary

Ohio State University seeks a Health System Informatics Senior Analyst to lead planning, design, and deployment of integrated health information systems. The role supports clinical applications, administrative needs, and patient outcomes, coordinating upgrades and new implementations.

The ideal candidate has Epic EMR knowledge with relevant certifications and a strong background in health IT reporting to drive system improvements and user training.

Qualifications

• A college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, with four years of IT experience.
• Epic EMR knowledge is required, with Epic certification in Clinical Documentation, ASAP, and/or Reporting.
• A strong reporting background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, and implement complex health information systems.
• Coordinate and provide support for all new and current applications and software upgrades.
• Advise on end-user training for health system applications and training program design.
• Evaluate and recommend application acquisitions.
