Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior data engineer to own the data foundation powering the Medicare revenue engine. You will build and operate data pipelines for member-month, HCC/diagnosis history, and CMS artifacts using Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.

You will ingest, reconcile, and lineage-track claims, eligibility, EMR extracts, and vendor files, ensuring data quality, auditable history, and timely forecasts for Finance and Actuarial teams. Leadership and governance are key.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with healthcare data.
• 4+ years hands-on with Databricks / Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience supporting risk-adjustment, actuarial, or finance data.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Medicare revenue projection data pipelines.
• Ingest, reconcile, and lineage-track claims, eligibility, and CMS files.
• Own data quality, lineage, and snapshot processes for accruals and audit.
• Lead data engineers and define modern data practices in a regulated environment.
