Job summary

Houston Methodist Academic Institute is seeking a Senior Application Analyst to provide expert support and configuration of assigned applications. You will train and mentor analysts, work with diverse customers, and enhance operational efficiency.

The role includes proactive issue management, high-level administration, and helping ensure quality delivery of application availability. Exempt position with responsibilities spanning budgeting considerations, project management, and cross‑department

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or experience working as a licensed clinical or certified IT professional.
An additional four years experience in addition to the experience listed below in lieu of Bachelors or licensed clinical or certified IT professional experience.
Five years’ experience in IT or clinical or business workflow required.
Experience supporting large scale clinical, ancillary or business environments.

Responsibilities

Acts as liaison between work teams and departments.
Facilitates team and client meetings and delivers informative, well-organized presentations.
Serves as role model and mentor to other team members through both formal and informal methods.
Facilitates working group sessions to identify and drive requirements to improve processes.
Manages customer expectations and deliverables through meetings, calls and reports.
