Brown & Brown in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Health Financial Senior Consultant to join our team. You will support Benefit Consultants with financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to inform client decisions.

The role involves evaluating cost projections and plan design, presenting insights at client meetings, and developing data-driven financial deliverables. A 5+ year background in employee benefits finance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics.
• 5+ years of employee benefits financial experience.
• Client-facing role with presentation exposure at client functions and meetings.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Microsoft Excel – strong to expert-level skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgement.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting client financial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Proficient to expert level financial/underwriting, renewal and marketing, as well as reporting, including financial projections, large claim analysis, and stop loss analysis.
• Develop and present financial deliverables addressing client needs and requests.
• Assist in data analytics development, review, and presentation.
• Participate in finalist presentations representing Brown & Brown’s financial strategy.
• Oversee monthly financial reports and large claim detail as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance and regulations in benefits.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects.
