Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is seeking a senior leader to guide Operational Analytics and Data Governance. You will partner with business leaders, data engineering, and governance teams to translate priorities into scalable analytics solutions and measurable business outcomes.

The role drives the move from traditional reporting to a domain-owned data product model on a lakehouse platform, develops roadmaps and governance standards, and champions AI governance and self-service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, information management, computer science or related field.
• 5+ years leading analytics, BI, data strategy or governance initiatives.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing analytics or data teams.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to translate needs into analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of data management, governance and enterprise analytics delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operational Analytics and Data Governance teams, driving high performance and accountability.
• Partner with business leaders, data engineering and governance teams to translate priorities into scalable analytics solutions.
• Advance from traditional reporting to a domain-owned, certified data product model on a lakehouse platform.
• Develop roadmaps, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and governance standards.
• Champion data governance: data quality, metadata, lineage, access controls and stewardship.
