Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Principal Data & Analytics Governance & Quality Analyst to lead the development and implementation of an enterprise Data and Analytics Governance strategy, ensuring the integrity and fitness-for-purpose of critical data and analytics products.

You will oversee governance strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining accountability for data asset quality across domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance councils and subcommittees, driving stewardship practices and policy adherence.
• Facilitate governance discussions and decision-making with stakeholders to resolve data-related challenges.
• Apply healthcare data governance principles to support data quality and governance across assets.
• Manage Data Asset Strategy & Roadmap reflecting asset maturity and business needs.
• Ensure assets are governance and quality compliant across lifecycles and define data quality/business rules.
