Job summary

GeoEngineers, Inc. in Seattle/Redmond, WA, seeks Staff Geotechnical Engineers to perform geotechnical analyses, coordinate field explorations, and prepare detailed reports.

You will work under a licensed engineer, assist with project management tasks, develop numerical models with PLAXIS and FLAC, and contribute to GIS/CAD deliverables. Remote work up to 5% may be available; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field; 2 years geotechnical experience.
• Experience with geotechnical software or coursework in soil mechanics and foundation design.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering activities and coordinate field explorations.
• Prepare detailed field reports and project deliverables.
• Assist with training junior staff and project management tasks.
• Develop numerical and spatial models and deliverables (GIS/CAD).
• Support permit applications and QA/QC activities.
