Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in hazardous waste management, environmental compliance, or related regulatory programs.
• Experience evaluating regulatory obligations and recommending corrective actions.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT HazMat, OSHA HAZWOPER training or familiarity with related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead waste-management functions, including complex determinations, waste profiles, sampling strategies, disposal pathways, and multi-site coordination.
• Review and approve technical completeness of waste characterization packages and regulatory documentation.
• Develop sampling plans and coordinate analytical services for waste, wastewater, soil, or other characterization needs.
• Coordinate TSDF agreements, waste shipments, cost estimates, and subcontractor performance.
• Prepare or support Biennial Reports, PCB logs, and audit-ready records.
• Administer chemical reuse center activities and review HMMS authorization requests.
• Provide technical recommendations and coordinate actions with management and government personnel.
