U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior HashiCorp Vault Engineer to support an enterprise secrets-management platform used by internal applications to securely store and rotate credentials.

The role involves configuration, maintenance, upgrades, automation, and architecture improvements in collaboration with application developers, security, and infrastructure teams. The position requires hands-on Vault experience in production, strong security mindset, and experience with Kubernetes.

Formación

• Hands-on Vault production experience.
• Background in information/security or platform engineering.
• Secrets management and credential security knowledge.
• Scripting/automation with Python or Bash.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer, administer, maintain, patch, and upgrade Vault.
• Support secret storage, retrieval, and password rotation.
• Troubleshoot integrations, APIs, authentication, and permissions.
• Develop automation to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with dev, security, infra, and Kubernetes teams.
• Support incidents and ensure platform availability.
