Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Senior Hardware Technical Program Manager in Bellevue, WA to own day-to-day execution of early-stage hardware programs from concept through feasibility, architecture, prototyping, and pilot deployments, partnering with optical, mechanical, electrical, firmware, quality, and software teams to manage cross-functional deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of technical product/program management experience.
• 5+ years hardware/electromechanical product development experience.
• Experience across full hardware lifecycle: concept to production.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with schedule/risk management.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into hardware specifications and success criteria with engineering and product management.
• Build and drive detailed project plans and cross-functional deliverables for net-new hardware programs.
• Identify and mitigate hardware risks (electrical, mechanical, thermal, optical, DFM, reliability, supply chain).
• Apply PDP/phase-gate processes with design reviews and EVT/DVT/PVT milestones.
• Plan and execute pilot deployments, define success metrics, and inform go/no-go decisions toward mass production.
• Coordinate prototype/pilot builds, procurement, and long-lead items with contract manufacturers/ODMs.
• Communicate program status with weekly updates and executive narratives.
