Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle seeks an experienced Sr. Technical Program Manager to define and build the next generation of our cloud server platforms.

You will lead cross-functional hardware product development programs across geographies with internal teams, vendors, and partners to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient infrastructure. The role requires strong data-driven decision making, KPI/UIs, and a track record in hardware design and large-scale compute/storage systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and release schedules.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• 7+ years working directly with engineering teams.
• Experience coordinating resources and prioritizing tasks for multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple simultaneous hardware product development programs across cross-functional teams.
• Drive improvements using data and metrics to enhance performance, quality and cost.
• Collaborate with internal customers, external vendors, and partners to deliver projects on time.
• Define and apply new technologies to large-scale server deployments.
