Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Development Engineer to drive test system and software development for our Intelligent Infrastructure division. You will contribute to end-to-end architecture, development, and deployment of production software for hardware products across multiple sites.

You will collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and quality teams, stay current with testing best practices, and travel up to 10% globally as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 5-8 years’ experience in a software manufacturing test development/sustaining with enterprise server, storage or networking products.
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Bash; C/C++ a plus.
• Linux development with CentOS/Ubuntu.
• Experience with IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester, iperf.
• Experience with VM creation using VMware.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test systems and procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts.
• Support and maintain manufacturing server and rack level test software and infrastructure.
• Document test procedures and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and QA teams.
• Stay updated on testing technologies and best practices.
• Define test infrastructure and architectures.
• Travel up to 10% globally.
