Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Lead Software Test Development Engineer to drive validation test solutions for server hardware in a high-volume manufacturing setting. You will lead end-to-end architecture and production deployment of test applications across multiple regions, interfacing with hardware, manufacturing, and quality teams.

This role emphasizes hands-on hardware validation, server-level and rack-level testing, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• 5-8 years of manufacturing test development/sustaining experience with enterprise server/storage products.
• Hands-on hardware validation experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is essential.
• Experience with Redfish and IPMI is highly desirable and should be demonstrated in recent roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test systems for hardware validation in high-volume manufacturing.
• Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate testing processes.
• Provide sustainment and minor configuration changes to production test software and infrastructure.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, specifications, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and quality teams to align testing requirements and standards.
