Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to own HW/SW testing of complex electrical computer systems and contribute to RCCA and debugging efforts. This role sits within the Product Integrity Team and interfaces across firmware, electrical, mechanical, and software domains.

You will support environmental and vibration testing and help maintain test infrastructure, aligning validation with product requirements for safe, reliable autonomous hardware kits.

Qualifications

• Multidisciplinary experience across Firmware/EE/ME; expertise in one, knowledgeable in the other.
• Experience with test equipment such as thermal chambers, vibe tables, liquid chillers, power supplies, electronic loads, and DAQs.
• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering.
• Python experience (automating repetitive tasks, analyzing data, and working within larger testing frameworks).
• Experience conducting thermal vibe testing.
• Experience working in a Linux environment and with computer networking.

Responsibilities

• Own HW/SW tests of complex electrical computer systems.
• Participate in root cause and corrective action (RCCA) and debug efforts.
• Support modules through environmental and vibration testing and validation as a test infrastructure owner.
