Job summary

Apple in Cupertino seeks an engineering leader to guide electrical engineers across a diverse product portfolio, advancing architectures, embedded observability, and precision metrology. You will mentor teams, set roadmaps, and partner with silicon, hardware, firmware, and software groups to drive scalable solutions.

This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on influence, and a proven record of delivering complex system-level results, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience with hardware systems expertise, or 7+ years of technical leadership.
• Experience in hardware systems development including architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up, characterization, and deployment.
• Strong fundamentals in analog, power electronics, mixed-signal, and high-speed digital design.
• Ability to lead complex engineering initiatives across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of electrical engineers and cross-functional partners.
• Drive architecture and development of observability, instrumentation, and metrology systems.
• Influence product architecture with silicon, hardware, and firmware teams.
• Lead development of precision power delivery, measurement instrumentation, and scalable hardware platforms.
• Champion AI-enabled engineering methodologies and automated design workflows.
• Shape the team's strategic presence in product discussions and roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership in complex system investigations and data-informed decisions.
• Define technical roadmaps and priorities balancing near-term delivery with long-term investments.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate strategies and drive measurable impact.
• Lead hiring, performance management, and career development; travel as needed.
