Job summary

Apple Home hardware team seeks an enthusiastic engineer to define and own electrical architectures for future Home products. You will work with a multi-disciplinary group to design, bring up, and validate hardware systems, from schematic capture to production readiness, ensuring privacy and security considerations are embedded.

You will lead hands-on debugging, prototype development, and collaboration with firmware, software, and product teams to deliver high-quality hardware solutions for

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
• 2+ years in hardware system design with strong EE fundamentals.
• Experience with DC/DC, power integrity, and SPICE simulations.
• Experience with PCB/flex layout and component selection.
• Knowledge of PCIe, USB, I2C, CAN, SPI interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical architecture and implementation for Home products.
• Schematic creation and PCB/layout responsibility.
• Bring-up, debug, and hardware validation of prototypes.
• Prototype proof of concepts and production readiness.
