Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer - HW Integration Lead in Huntsville, AL. The role leads hardware integration during the TMRR phase, guides MBSE artifacts in Cameo, and ensures rigorous verification and validation for complex assemblies.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with extensive experience, active DoD Secret Clearance, and strong leadership across cross-functional teams. Relocation may be considered; salary is competitive with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 10+ years; or PhD with 8+ years.
• U.S. Citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance
• Experience applying systems engineering across full lifecycle for hardware-intensive or weapon systems
• Experience in rapid prototyping and development for fast-paced missile programs

Responsabilités

• Lead the SLCM-N hardware integration during the TMRR phase and provide technical leadership.
• Lead planning, requirements development, allocation, and traceability for integrated assemblies.
• Review MBSE artifacts in Cameo to ensure alignment with technical baseline.
• Oversee verification and validation strategy, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform system integration and hardware–software integration planning and execution.
• Develop and document functional analyses, trade studies, risk and opportunity assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IPTs to ensure producibility, testability, and supportability.
