Job summary

Aurora Innovation is seeking a Staff Supply Chain Program Manager to join its Global Purchasing & Supply Chain team. You will drive readiness across hardware programs, map the complete supply chain, and collaborate with engineering, sourcing and FP&A to hit cost and production targets.

You’ll develop metrics, lead program meetings, and present clear executive summaries. This role emphasizes data-driven decisions, process automation, and scalable tools to support high‑volume,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain roles managing hardware development programs, with milestones, timelines, dependencies and risks.
• 5+ years of experience managing supply chain setup for hardware development from prototype to mass production in large/fast-growing companies.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to senior executives.
• Proficiency with task management tools like Jira and scheduling tools like Smartsheet/MS Project.
• Advanced analytical skills with data to insights using Googlesheets/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain readiness through planning and execution of purchasing, supply chain and supplier quality deliverables.
• Define and manage supply chain milestones in program timelines.
• Drive BOM clarity between engineering and supply chain to unblock production readiness.
• Manage BOM cost via cross-functional collaboration for cost reduction.
• Drive supply chain resilience with detailed mapping from prototype to production.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to report readiness and resilience for programs.
• Represent GPSC in program meetings and prepare executive summaries.
• Drive continuous improvements in data integrity and automation.
