Job summary

Aurora is hiring a Staff Supply Chain Program Manager to join the Global Purchasing & Supply Chain team. You will drive supply chain readiness through all development stages of our hardware products and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet program goals.

The role requires 7+ years in supply chain for hardware programs and 5+ years in hardware development supply chain setup, with strong communication skills and experience with Jira and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain roles managing hardware development programs, with the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• 5+ years of experience managing supply chain setup for hardware development from prototype to high-volume manufacturing with products in mass production in large and/or fast growing companies.
• Strong ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively to various audiences at all levels; proven ability to communicate complex concepts to senior executives.
• Proficiency with task management tools equivalent to Jira, and schedule management tools equivalent to Smartsheet/MS Project.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to transform data into insight using Google Sheets/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain readiness through planning and execution of purchasing, supply chain and supplier quality deliverables for the assigned programs.
• Define and manage supply chain milestones in program timelines considering top-down constraints and bottom-up dependencies.
• Drive BOM clarity by liaising between engineering and supply chain to unblock sourcing and material readiness for production.
• Manage BOM cost by cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sourcing, and FP&A for cost reduction.
• Drive supply chain resilience by conducting detailed mapping from prototype to production and defining performance criteria.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to report supply chain readiness and resilience for the assigned programs.
• Represent GPSC in program meetings, provide status updates, highlight risks, and present executive summaries to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvements in data integrity and system automation with cross-functional teams.
