Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Product Sourcing Engineer to support the development and production of advanced hardware products in Costa Mesa, CA or Bellevue, WA. This hands-on role partners with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to move technical components from requirements through sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and delivery.

You will own sourcing for PCBAs, electronics, mechanical parts, sensors, optics, and other engineered hardware; manage RFQs, quotes,

Qualifications

5+ years of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or related experience.
Proven experience sourcing technical/engineered hardware, not just indirect spend.
Strong RFQ/RFP/RFX, supplier negotiation, PO, and contract management.
Ability to work with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Own sourcing activities for PCBAs, electronics, mechanical components, sensors, optics, and other engineered hardware.
Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including supplier identification, RFQs/RFPs, quote evaluation, negotiations, contracting/POs, and delivery.
Partner with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, commercial terms, and supplier agreements.
Manage supplier performance, schedules, risks, and production issues.
Support new product introduction (NPI) and fast-paced product development efforts.
Create structure and drive execution when requirements or processes are evolving.
