Job summary

Verkada, headquartered in San Mateo, CA, is seeking a senior Product Manager to lead a new alarms line, blending hardware and software to create advanced detection and response systems for a wide range of customers.

You will grow the sensor suite and support retailers, manufacturers, and other partners, while collaborating with hardware and software teams to meet timelines and regulatory standards. Role requires onsite work at our HQ in San Mateo.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience in B2B.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Proven history of launching hardware and embedded products.
• Strong customer intuition and ability to navigate tradeoffs.
• Ability to lead across strategy and execution with attention to detail.
• Passion for craftsmanship and product details, esp. smart home tech.
• Foundational understanding of firmware, networking, device bring-up, electrical and mechanical design.

Responsibilities

• Own new product hardware and software roadmaps and translate needs into a landed solution.
• Oversee development from concept to launch with hardware and software engineering.
• Manage relationships with regulatory and compliance entities.
• Direct pricing, GTM positioning, and sales training for new Alarms devices.
• Ensure Verkada hardware scales from small to large with simplicity, speed, and flexibility.
