Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in device safety, product safety, or hardware operations.
• Experience building complex safety or risk programs from ambiguous starting points.
• Ability to translate constraints from product, engineering, legal, privacy, and policy into executable workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end safety and risk operating model for new hardware categories.
• Develop incident taxonomies, escalation criteria, and response pathways.
• Create playbooks for product-safety incidents, recalls, advisories, and corrective actions.
• Design workflows for privacy-sensitive and regulated cases with auditability and data requirements.
• Translate safety needs into tooling, case management, and monitoring requirements.
• Establish ownership boundaries across cross-functional teams.
