Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC seeks a seasoned Subject Matter Expert in hardware reverse engineering to support on-site incident response for critical infrastructure. The role emphasizes OT/ICS devices, firmware analysis, and malware extraction from embedded hardware.

You will work with advanced threat actors' techniques, document findings, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop defensive measures and forensics workflows.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and security clearances required.
• Experience in hardware reverse engineering for OT/ICS environments.
• Ability to analyze novel or proprietary systems with limited documentation.
• Excellent communication to explain complex technical findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hardware reverse engineering of OT and IC devices.
• Analyze network-edge devices and embedded systems compromised by advanced threats.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of proprietary hardware targeted by adversaries.
• Reverse engineer firmware and low-level software on embedded devices.
• Identify and extract deeply embedded malware from hardware components.
• Collaborate with Nightwing research teams to leverage analytical capabilities.
• Document exploitation methodologies and defensive countermeasures.
