The role emphasizes deep analysis of proprietary hardware, firmware, and embedded systems, with collaboration across research teams.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in hardware RE, strong knowledge of OT/ICS platforms, and experience with firmware analysis, IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Binary Ninja; active clearance
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required, active TS/SCI clearance preferred.
- 10+ years in hardware reverse engineering or embedded systems analysis.
- Deep OT/ICS hardware platform knowledge and vulnerabilities.
- Experience with firmware reverse engineering and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, C, and Assembly.
Responsabilités
- Conduct comprehensive hardware reverse engineering of OT and ICs devices.
- Analyze network-edge devices and embedded systems compromised by advanced threats.
- Perform deep-dive analysis of proprietary hardware targeted by adversaries.
- Reverse engineer firmware and low-level software on embedded devices.
- Collaborate with Nightwing teams to leverage analytical capabilities.
- Document exploitation methodologies and defensive countermeasures.
