Job summary

BCMC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in hardware reverse engineering to support a U.S. Government mission. The role centers on OT/ICS devices, firmware analysis, and malware extraction to inform defensive strategies and incident response.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in relevant fields, active TS/SCI clearance, and deep familiarity with ARM/MIPS/Power architectures, plus experience with JTAG/SWD/UART interfaces and network-edge devices.

Qualifications

• Must hold U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ten or more years in hardware reverse engineering or embedded analysis required.
• Deep OT/ICS hardware experience and vulnerability knowledge.
• Ability to analyze novel or proprietary systems with limited docs.
• Strong communication for complex technical findings; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hardware reverse engineering of OT/IC devices.
• Analyze compromised network-edge devices and embedded systems.
• Perform deep-dive analyses of proprietary hardware.
• Identify and extract deeply embedded malware from hardware.
• Reverse engineer firmware and low-level software on embedded devices.
• Collaborate with research teams and document methodologies.
