Job summary

OPSWAT is seeking a Principal Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of our security appliance portfolio. You will work across hardware engineering, supply chain, software product, and compliance to translate business strategy into differentiated, certifiable hardware offerings.

You will drive multi-year roadmaps, NPI gates, certification milestones, and cost-down programs while balancing BOM, ASP, and inventory.

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience, with at least 6 in hardware product management for networked/embedded appliances.
Strong understanding of NPI processes and go/kill-gate decisions.
Experience owning BOM cost targets, margins, and inventory exposure.
Excellent written and verbal communication for executive briefings.

Responsibilities

Own hardware roadmaps across the appliance portfolio and lifecycle stages.
Drive NPI lifecycle from concept to mass production with cross-functional teams.
Manage certification programs (FIPS/CC/DoDIN-APL etc.) and recertification planning.
Lead cost-down, sourcing, and supply chain collaboration for hardware platforms.
Align hardware strategy with market requirements and customer needs.
