Job summary

SonicWall is seeking a Senior Director of Hardware/Architecture to lead the global hardware engineering effort for security appliances, servers, switches, and access points. You will drive architecture, design decisions, and collaboration with software, product, and supply chain to scale hardware offerings.

Lead cross-geo teams, partner with JDM/ODM partners, and drive execution with accountability and measurable results.

Qualifications

• BS degree in EE or CE with 15+ years of technical experience.
• Minimum 10+ years of technical and people leadership experience.
• Experience in hardware product design and architecture, PCB design, power and logic design.

Responsibilities

• Design and development leadership of global HW engineering team.
• Collaborate with Software & Product on hardware architecture definition.
• Evaluate trade-offs in manufacturing, reliability and quality.
• Drive hardware development across board, system, power, SI, ECAD, Mech/Thermal, validation, compliance.
• Engage with JDM/ODM partners and supply chain executives.
• Provide executive visibility on performance, risks, and priorities.
