Job summary

Verda is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to own hardware sourcing, supplier relationships, and data-center logistics end-to-end. The role is based in Santa Clara, CA, with office presence required.

You will lead end-to-end procurement processes, negotiate hardware supply agreements, coordinate international shipping, and review contracts, working closely with our Finland team. Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred, and equity is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management in hardware, technology infrastructure, or data‑center environments.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to run procurement independently.
• Experience coordinating logistics and international shipping.
• Proficiency in reviewing and managing commercial contracts.
• Full‑time office presence in Santa Clara, California.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage US hardware procurement, supplier relations, logistics and contracts independently, working closely with Finland team.
• Run end‑to‑end procurement processes from purchase request to delivery confirmation and invoice reconciliation.
• Negotiate hardware supply agreements, volume pricing, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate logistics, including international shipping, customs clearance, Incoterms, and freight forwarding.
• Review and manage commercial contracts directly, without routing everything through Legal.
• Maintain full‑time office presence in Santa Clara, California.
