Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Senior Sourcing Lead - Hardware to guide the hardware category globally from the Global Procurement team. You will drive category strategy, negotiate OEM agreements, and optimize third-party hardware spend while managing risks and lead times across US, EU, and APAC.

As a senior leader, you will mentor sourcing managers and buyers, partner with infrastructure engineering and finance, and influence executive-level decisions on hardware refreshes and investments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sourcing/procurement experience in technology hardware.
• Experience leading large-scale hardware negotiations and multimillion-dollar savings.
• Enterprise-level hardware category strategy with supply chain risk management.
• Influence with senior technology executives including CTO-level stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring procurement professionals across geographies.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and financial acumen for hardware models.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the hardware category strategy across the organization.
• Lead negotiations for high-value OEM agreements with best-in-class outcomes.
• Drive cost optimization while balancing supply chain resilience and risk.
• Influence senior stakeholders on hardware refresh cycles and business cases.
• Mentor sourcing managers and buyers across geographies (US, EU, APAC).
• Strengthen vendor relationships for long-term value and innovation.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify savings.
• Represent Procurement to engineering and business leadership on hardware decisions.
