Job summary

Mercor is seeking experienced Systems & Integration Engineers to support an advanced engineering and AI research initiative with a leading technology organization. We want hands-on engineers who have integrated, tested, validated, debugged, or analyzed complex hardware in production.

You'll work across electrical, mechanical, firmware/software, and thermal domains to ensure system-level reliability and manufacturability. Remote-friendly, design-focused, with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with complex physical hardware in production.
• Experience in verification, validation, and test of integrated systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose failures across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.

Responsibilities

• Apply hands-on systems, integration, reliability, and test engineering expertise to complex hardware problems.
• Review and evaluate system requirements, interfaces, verification strategies, and test procedures.
• Analyze system-level interactions across electrical, mechanical, firmware/software, and thermal domains.
• Assess technical feasibility of engineering solutions and test strategies.
• Diagnose integration failures and identify root causes, interface issues, and defects.
• Develop or review rigorous problem statements, test cases, and failure analyses.
• Draw on experience with prototype bring-up, qualification, environmental and reliability testing.
• Provide clear technical feedback grounded in real-world hardware development and production experience.
