Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years in VLSI hardware design, or MS with 5+ years.
• Proficiency in HDL (Verilog/VHDL) and programming languages (C/C++, Python).
• Knowledge of hardware failure modes and safety mechanisms.
• Knowledge of safety-analysis methodologies: FMEA, FMEDA, DFA.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain safety work products (Safety Plan, Safety Case) per methodologies.
• Drive safety analysis activities and produce FMEA/FMEDA/DFA artifacts.
• Lead continual improvement of functional safety practices.
• Define functional safety requirements with product manager.
• Assist project manager with planning, resource estimation, and safety training.
• Support safety assessments alongside the safety lead.
