Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Hardware Engineer for the Starlink program to own the development of customer-facing gateway hardware and related electronics. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate concept to production, ensuring reliability for millions of end users worldwide.

You will design and test electronics for satellites communication, drive system trades, PCB layouts, and hardware bring-up, while collaborating with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams across the globe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years designing circuits, electronic products or hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test highly reliable electronics for communicating with satellites.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, and production test teams.
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test.
