Job summary

Maxtena, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to advance R&D and support production in satellite and 4G/5G systems. You will design electronic/electromechanical circuits, develop PCBs, prototype and test devices, and collaborate with sales and customers to realize robust products.

Your responsibilities include feasibility studies with simulations, rigorous signal integrity practices, and delivering high-density, SMT RF hardware with attention to DFM and quality.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizens with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Engineering degree(s) in electrical field preferred.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with hardware design, testing, or production.
• Knowledge of electronics hardware design and development.
• Proficient in Altium Designer for PCB design.
• 7+ years in multi-layer PCB layout, RF and high-density layout.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and EMI practices.
• DFM experience and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic and electromechanical circuits, schematics, PCB packages, and systems for new development and production.
• Prototype and evaluate devices for product development and ongoing production.
• Hardware prototype construction and testing.
• Interface with sales, customers, and other technical staff.
• Perform feasibility studies using simulation tools.
