Job summary

Teradyne's Defense & Aerospace division seeks a highly technical Hardware Engineer to design, verify, and bring up PCBA hardware for advanced test solutions. You will partner with mechanical, software, systems, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes schematic and circuit design, high-speed PCB development, and robust design verification across prototyping through release.

Qualifications

BSEE or MSEE required.
5-12 years PCBA design and simulation experience focusing on schematic/circuit design.
Experience designing complex, high-speed, multi-layer PCB assemblies and reviewing artwork designs.
Strong circuit characterization, verification, and debug skills.
Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and communicating requirements; presenting design work to customers.

Responsibilities

Implement PCB design processes with emphasis on architecture, component selection, schematic capture, and artwork generation.
Design, build, and maintain prototyping plans for new products with thorough bring-up and validation.
Debug analog, digital, and bus-based hardware using lab equipment; analyze data and support documentation and release status.
