Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Hardware Development Engineer to lead the design and validation of component boards for AWS servers.

You will own architecture, development, validation, and operations across high-speed interconnects, processors and memory, collaborating with ODMs and internal teams to deliver scalable server hardware. You will join a diverse team driving the next generation of AWS hardware with a focus on quality, performance, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of new hardware products development experience.
• 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the component board from architecture through development, validation and operations.
• Develop hardware design, maintenance, and verification for server hardware.
• Work on high-speed interconnects, multi-core processors, and high-capacity memory.
• Collaborate with ODM partners and internal teams to drive program success.
