Laminar is building self-driving factories with inline sensors and physics-grounded models. We seek a senior Hardware Engineer to lead sensor system R&D, perform circuit and PCB design, and drive rapid prototyping for field trials in Somerville, MA.

You will collaborate across Hardware and Embedded Systems, evaluate new technologies, and push for high-ownership, fast iteration. Autonomous, hands-on leaders thrive here.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in electronics design, mechanical design, and data analysis.
• Electronics: PCB SMD/THT soldering, troubleshooting, oscilloscope use, EMI troubleshooting.
• PCB design with microcontrollers, high-density sensor interfaces, and industrial protocols.
• Embedded coding experience, preferably Zephyr RTOS or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Design and prototype PCBs using KiCAD; develop mechanical housings in SolidWorks.
• Develop test strategies; collect data and present results for sensor comparisons.
• Lead internal teams on new system design with ownership across the stack.
• Integrate sensors into testing platforms and prototype field-ready solutions.
• Contribute to hardware design through assembly, debugging, and cross-project support.
