Laminar seeks a senior hardware engineer to lead sensor system R&D, collaborating with Hardware and Embedded Systems teams to rapidly evaluate new technologies and integrate them into field prototypes. You will perform circuit and PCB design, sensor experimentation, and data analysis to improve prototype iteration speed and reliability.

You will work hands-on with KiCAD, SolidWorks, and PSPICE, developing test strategies and ensuring manufacturability for industrial deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electronics design, mechanical design, and data analysis.
• Electrical OR MechanicalExperience across PCB design, microcontrollers, sensors, and industrial comms.
• Embedded systems coding experience, preferably Zephyr RTOS or similar.

Responsabilités

• Design and prototype PCBs from sensors using KiCAD, SolidWorks, and PSPICE.
• Design mechanical housings using SolidWorks for difficult environments.
• Develop and implement test strategies with the Data Analysis team and present data for reviews.
• Lead internal teams on new system design with rapid evaluation and ownership.
• Integrate sensors to existing testing platforms using Zephyr RTOS.
• Contribute to hardware team with design, assembly, and debug support on multiple projects.
