Job summary

Experis is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our R&D team in the United States. You will help drive the full product implementation cycle from requirements analysis through production introduction, including PCBA layout, testing, and documentation.

You will collaborate with hardware architecture, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and product teams to deliver robust, field-ready embedded hardware. The role emphasizes analog/digital circuit design, sensor integration, and compliance testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded systems.
• Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design, including low-noise signal paths and power management.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, LoRa, RS-485) with experience integrating into new and existing hardware platforms.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer preferred), plus familiarity with sensor integration (temperature, humidity, pressure, optical sensors).

Responsibilities

• Support guidance into the full product implementation cycle, including requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design (including PCBA layout), implementation, testing, integration, documentation, compliance certification, and introduction to production in coordination with the architecture team.
• Collaborate with a multi-functional team including hardware architecture, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics engineering, product and program management, and other groups as needed.
• Support advanced technology initiatives to develop next-generation sensors, sensing platforms, and improvements in products sustaining activities.
• Contribute to firmware-hardware co-design and debugging of embedded systems to ensure reliable performance in real-world conditions.
• Help ensure designs meet compliance expectations (EMC, safety) by supporting compliance testing and product certification processes.
