Job summary

Voyant Photonics is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer specialized in analog and mixed-signal electronics to lead the technical direction for LiDAR module design. You will own SI/PI, EMI/EMC standards, and guide cross-functional teams through bring-up, validation, and supplier engagement.

Bring-up and characterization across programs with emphasis on manufacturability, yield, and cost trade-offs, plus mentoring of engineers and customer-facing technical discussions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on hardware development with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience leading technical direction for teams or product lines.
• Expertise in low-noise analog and high-speed digital design.
• Authority on signal/power integrity and EMI mitigation techniques. Experience in driving designs through DFM, reliability testing, and yield optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define the analog and mixed-signal architecture for next-generation LiDAR modules, including TIAs, ADCs, and power delivery systems.
• Act as the technical authority on signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC, establishing design standards and review processes.
• Lead bring-up, characterization, and validation strategy across multiple programs, ensuring robustness and manufacturability.
• Own critical design trade-offs affecting performance, cost, and integration complexity.
