Job summary

Voyant Photonics is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer, Analog & Mixed‑Signal, to lead the hardware direction behind our LiDAR modules in NYC. You will own the analog/mixed-signal architecture, drive performance, power, and manufacturability, and mentor a growing hardware team.

You will collaborate with silicon photonics, systems, and firmware groups to solve challenging trade-offs and scale products for high-volume production. The role emphasizes hands-on design leadership and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on hardware development with end-to-end ownership.
• Proven expertise in analog/mixed-signal, high-volume production.
• Strong leadership to set technical direction and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Define analog and mixed-signal architecture for next‑gen LiDAR modules.
• Lead SI/PI, EMI/EMC standards, and design reviews across teams.
• Drive bring-up, characterization, EVT/DVT/PVT, and manufacturability.
• Balance performance, cost, power, and integration in roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and represent hardware in cross‑functional reviews.
• Own supplier strategy for critical analog parts; engage vendors.
• Present hardware architecture in customer and partner discussions.
