Job summary

Terma Inc, a US subsidiary of Denmark-based Terma A/S, is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join its dynamic team in Warner Robins, GA. The role involves developing next-generation Airborne Defensive Systems within a growing product development team.

Responsibilities include analyzing hardware requirements, debugging circuits, and collaborating with suppliers to build and qualify boards. A BS in EE/CE and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, design, development, and testing of systems and components.
• Experience in circuit design and simulation (Analog and Digital).
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture and high-speed digital signal integrity.
• Familiarity with video and avionic interfaces, including 1553 and ARINC.
• Experience with EMI design and testing to MIL-STD-461.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development projects for next-generation Airborne Defensive Systems.
• Analyze design requirements from a system and hardware perspective.
• Debug complex circuits and document findings with solutions.
• Promote technical solutions across different projects and ensure consistency in hardware design.
• Support Project Managers in hardware planning and component selection.
• Work with suppliers to build, test, and qualify circuit boards.
