Job summary

Zebra is seeking a Senior Hardware Electrical Engineer to bring concepts to production. You will apply embedded microprocessors and high‑speed PCB design to RFID and other products, shaping reliable hardware for a market‑leading portfolio.

You’ll lead digital and analog control system testing and collaborate with cross functional teams to meet engineering goals. The role is onsite in Holtsville, NY with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Strong in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with PCB design and test equipment.
• Regulatory testing and standards support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 4+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred
• Skilled in C, C++, and python
• Proven record of successful project contributions
• Strong participation in architecture and platform development
• Manufacturing and cross‑functional team interaction and support for project completion
• Regulatory testing for non‑RF requirements, debug and standards support.
• Basic knowledge in wireless communications
• Strong hardware and system knowledge
• Strong team player and communicator
• Broad knowledge of modern digital systems
• Experience with the constraints imposed by battery operated systems
• Experience with a variety of common digital interfaces at the PHY level, including RS232, USB, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, SDIO, etc.
• Expert in the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.
• Working knowledge of PCB schematic capture - Cadence knowledge is a plus
• Research and Development experience

Pay Range:

$96,800.00 - $145,200.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
