Job summary

Kforce Inc is seeking a Senior Hardware Design/Sustaining Engineer for a 100% onsite role in Phoenix, AZ. This direct-hire position involves debugging complex communication system boards, including high-speed digital and mixed-signal designs. You will conduct root cause analysis, support board recovery, and collaborate across teams to extend product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuit design or debugging.
• Ability to read schematics, layouts, and BOMs.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex boards with various components including FPGAs and CPUs.
• Analyze mixed-signal and RF circuits to isolate failures.
• Partner with teams on debug, validation, and recovery.

Skills

High-speed digital circuit design

Mixed-signal circuit debugging

Communication protocols (DDR, Ethernet, USB)

Embedded systems understanding

Familiarity with lab tools (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers)
