Start Date: Immediate Interview: Phone/Skype Role and responsibilities: Responsible for the design, development, simulation, validation, and lifecycle support of embedded electronic hardware systems. Lead hardware development from concept through production while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Expertise in digital and mixed-signal design supports the delivery of reliable, high-performance, and production-ready electronic solutions.
Design digital and mixed-signal electronic systems for embedded hardware platforms. Develop hardware architectures, schematics, interface circuits, and subsystem designs. Perform component selection, circuit analysis, and design optimization. Review PCB layouts with emphasis on signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability. Support design verification throughout the product development lifecycle.
Design and integrate high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DDR3/DDR4/DDR5, Ethernet, USB, and SerDes. Analyze timing performance, signal integrity, and power delivery requirements. Support interface optimization and validation for robust system performance. Design PSU’s for different power rails and RF interfaces Conduct pre-layout and post-layout design analysis.
Perform circuit simulations using SPICE-based tools and industry-standard design software. Conduct signal integrity and power integrity analysis. Verify circuit functionality and performance prior to hardware release. Support worst-case analysis, timing verification, and design margin assessment.
Lead board bring-up, debugging, and system integration activities. Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of hardware issues. Execute functional, environmental, reliability, safety, and compliance testing. Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and related laboratory equipment. Document validation plans, test procedures, and verification results.
Support manufacturing transfer and production ramp activities. Resolve field and production hardware issues through structured problem-solving methods. Lead failure analysis and corrective action investigations. Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams. Provide technical guidance to engineers, designers, and technicians.
