Job summary

Mr. Handyman Miami is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The Estimator is responsible for evaluating project requests, conducting site visits when necessary, calculating material and labor costs, and preparing accurate and competitive quotes for clients.

Candidates should have 5+ years estimating experience in construction/remodeling/handyman services, strong knowledge of materials, and fluent English and Spanish. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Service Titan is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction/remodeling/handyman services.
• Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, drywall, tile, flooring and plumbing.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and mobile apps; Service Titan a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Review work requests and conduct on-site assessments when needed.
• Communicate with clients to understand scope of work and clarify details.
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with field technicians to ensure pricing and scope accuracy.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
• Provide written quotes and follow up with clients.
• Track and manage submitted estimates and update project management tools.
• Maintain knowledge of current pricing and industry standards.
