Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, design recovery plans, create custom splints, and collaborate with hand surgeons and therapists.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, a state PT or OT license, and a CHT credential; an advanced degree in PT/OT preferred. 3+ years' experience in upper-extremity rehab; CPR/BLS current.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide hand/upper-extremity rehabilitation and splinting.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct supervision of OT Assistants, students, and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom hand orthoses and splints.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
