Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Sr Supervisor HACCP to oversee daily HACCP/HARPC programs at the Danville facility and ensure product safety and labeling compliance. You will review documents, maintain SSOP/SOP systems, and support laboratory functions as needed.

The role requires 2+ years in HACCP, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of USDA, GMP, and SSOPs, with a focus on training and cross-functional collaboration. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HACCP implementation and sanitation experience in a food processing plant.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs.
• Knowledge of product labeling and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Daily review and monitoring of HACCP/HARPC and supporting documents.
• Maintain understanding of HACCP/HARPC, SSOP, and SOP systems.
• Conduct annual reassessments of HACCP/HARPC for the facility.
• Lead HACCP/HARPC and SSOP program development and maintenance.
• Coordinate with corporate and facility personnel to administer HACCP/HARPC & SSOP plans.
• Report nonconformances and audit results to plant and corporate FSQA and management.
• Engage with customers for plant tours and audits.
• Lead government, GFSI, and customer-related food safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with GFSI standards to maintain SQF/BRC certification.
• Conduct and promote food safety training for all staff.
