Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Dallas Presbyterian location in the Gynecologic Oncology department. This full‑time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, adherence to standards, and collaborate with the inter‑disciplinary team. Ideal candidates have BSN preferred, RN license active, and BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and RN license required.
• BLS certification required with ongoing CE.
• Oncology experience strongly preferred; varied levels shown (Level I/II/Senior).
• Continuing education requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care per standards.
• Assess health status by interviewing patients and medical history.
• Provide teaching materials and psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Facilitate clinical operations and patient care; manage med refill requests.
• Schedule consultations, pre-testing, tests, referrals and future appointments.
• Triage patient calls and document in the chart; coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Assist patients in locating community resources; engage in collaboration.
